"Brockman's super PAC is spending more money against me than his company is on Super Bowl ads."

NEW YORK, NY — While AI giants drop millions on feel-good Super Bowl ads portraying themselves as just your friendly neighborhood chatbot, Alex Bores—New York State Assemblymember and NY-12 Democratic congressional candidate—is out with a game time video of his own.
In a video released during Super Bowl LX, Bores exposes the reality behind OpenAI's glossy commercials: Co-Founder Greg Brockman is simultaneously bankrolling a $100 million super PAC specifically targeting lawmakers like Alex who want to rein in the excesses of the industry.
Brockman (a Trump megadonor to the tune of $25 million) and his Leading the Future super PAC have made Alex their #1 enemy and have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars against him—all for the high crime of calling for meaningful regulation of the AI giants.
"Brockman's super PAC is spending more money against me than his company is on Super Bowl ads,” Alex says in the video.
To get up to speed:
-
Greg Brockman dropped $25 million into a pro-Trump super PAC last year, making him the largest donor in the most recent filing
-
His $100 million AI super PAC is flooding NY-12 with attack ads targeting Alex
-
Leading the Future’s message to Congress is clear: try to regulate us, and we'll come for you too
In the video, Alex ends with a simple question: "Ads during football. Millions in political spending. Who's this for—you, or just more power for the AI oligarchs?"
This Super Bowl Sunday, ask yourself: Who do you want writing tech policy—one of us or the billionaires trying to buy our democracy?
